Hologram Zoo Illinois hosts kids birthday parties at 318 Hawthorn Center inside Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills IL 60061, serving families across the Chicago suburbs, Lake County, and the North Shore. Birthday party packages and prices: the Core package is $225 per 10 guests, the most popular Plus package is $274 per 10 guests, and the Ultra package is $349 per 10 guests. The birthday guest of honor always attends free, and additional guests can be added at a per-head rate. Every package includes a private party room, one or more 30-minute walk-through hologram experiences (Dinosaurs, Asia, or Space), the Photo Studio, the Projectogram, and free admission for the birthday child. Outside cake is welcome; confetti, glitter and pinatas are not. A guaranteed hit with the kids! We did the dinosaur exhibit which was fun for the preschooler and kindergartener. The staff are super personable and explained everything well. Very clean and spacious as well.

Check in & grab 3D glasses
Everyone signs in and picks up lightweight 3D glasses — not bulky VR headsets. The party lead explains what’s about to happen.
The first hologram experience
Your group walks the 60-foot tunnel you booked — Dinosaurs, Asia, or Space. Something 3 stories tall walks past. That’s the photo you’ll frame.
Back to the room for cake
Serve cake, pizza, whatever you brought. Kids re-enact what they just saw. You take the photos you planned to take.
Round two (Plus & Ultra)
If you booked Plus or Ultra, kids head into a second, totally different world. This is where parents see their kid’s imagination unlock.
Presents & goodbyes
Final stretch in the private room for gifts and farewells. You pack up leftovers, we reset the room. Everyone drives home talking about it.
